Since extension packs have nothing to do with moving stuff between
host and guests as far as I know, I'm going to guess you're actually
talking about guest additions. The guest additions are in a .iso file
which you mount into the guest's virtual cd-rom drive, and install
inside the guest. If you gave more details like which guest operating
system, and what happens during the install of the guest additions we
might be able to help more.
