Sorry, I wasn’t clear on the memory issue. I meant to say to verify you have 
enough Video Memory in the VBox Guest settings. The default often is pretty 
small.

As already mentioned by Kees in his post, the Guest Additions ISO should be in 
the virtual CD ROM drive after you select it. If it doesn’t run automatically 
then go to your drives folder and select the CDROM drive and start it from 
there.

I’m curious, why don’t you upgrade to the latest VBox version, 4.3.28? Later 
versions have a number of improvements and fixes.
