Glad to hear that you’ve gotten past the video issue. For the future if you run into the mouse capture issue, there is a “host key” to get it and the keyboard out of the VM. On the Mac the default is the left CMD key and the right CTRL key on other hosts. It is displayed at the bottom right of the VM window where the other VM icons are that show disk activity, etc. With the Guest Additions installed you shouldn’t have any issue with the mouse capture any more.
Regarding the sound issue - do you have any sound from the VM at all like system sounds etc.? If not check in the VM setup in the VBox Manager and see if Sound is enabled and if it has found the host drivers. If Sound wasn’t enabled then NT may have not installed sound drivers at all since it won’t see any sound card so after turning the sound on in the VM settings and rebooting NT test it. It it still doesn’t find the sound card then do a Search for New Hardware and it should find it.
