right. notice the "status: 30/30". that means all 30 of the allowed smtp connections are 'filled'. increase your SMTP concurrency limit. /var/qmail/control/concurrence[local/remote]. restart smtp.
doh. that would be the concurrency for deliveries of course. if you're using daemontools (you should be), change the CONCURRENCY environment variable.
