I'd like to start a thread about something of interest to me, and hopefully, to some of you. What stories do you have, that happened, when you were at a fly tying event? You were either tying your flies, or witnessing another tyer's presentation. Or expanded, to include the presentations at the casting pond? Possibilities suggested might be educational, historical, colorful, or just danged funny. And they have to be true stories, which has to be a huge challenge, for fly fishers! ----- Anybody want to start the ball rolling? Just thought of this, and I don't have anything in mind, or written, of my own. Will do one, though.
