It is not a very difficult job, but it can be time consuming, especially on a busy list. That is why it may be a good idea to have2, 3, 4, or even 5 co-moderators. That way, when one has other obligations, one of the other moderators would approve members, messages, etc. I am a co-moderator of several yahoo groups, and owner of a few more, and it is really great when others are moderating too. For instance, I am co-moderator of a group called Briansfreshwaterfishing, on yahoo, and it has about 2100 members. But, there are about a half dozen of us moderators, plus the owner, so no one has to do all the work. It is really quite easy that way. At any rate, as I mentioned earlier, I wouldn't mind helping out, just not alone. Tight lines, Salty Dan Tyler Texas
If at first you don't succeed, maybe you shouldn't try sky diving! --- On Mon, 11/23/09, Don Ordes <[email protected]> wrote: From: Don Ordes <[email protected]> Subject: [VFB] Re: Staying on list To: [email protected] Date: Monday, November 23, 2009, 9:25 PM Not a bad idea, Dan. How difficult a job is it? What's involved? I have my plate full with this DVD and now working on the second one, but I'll help as long as I don't get called out of town on consulting work.
