Well folks: My wife and I had to go BACK to another doc today. She had to go
get her blood checked to see if her number they go by by giving her blood
thinners they have to do each month. Then, we both had to see the Eye doc, and
we BOTH have to have bi-focals. And they told her she has the early stages of
cateracts. This getting older stuff ain’t for Sissy’s LOL..Good news on my wife
is that he said the blood thinners had NOT caused any bleeding at all in her
eyes, which he says can be a common thing. My glasses are kinda weird. My far
off vision is 20/20, but I have to use 2.00 X reading glasses to read a
computer screen, then swap back to a 2.75X for reading books, newspapers etc.
So the upper part of mine will be 2X readers, then the bottoms will be 2.75X.
Then I’ll still have to take them off (which is why they always get really
scratched up, which is why I normally just go to the Dollar Tree store and buy
them by the dozen pairs or so for a buck a pair, then scatter them all over the
house, car etc. And another good thing is that my macular degeneration has NOT
gotten any worse. Chuck
