This has a fly that I have had fairly good success with for crappie. Has caused me to tye another fly that has a blade on it much like the road runnner jig heads. I am using a loop of mono and not hardware like in Fly Tyer. I am not sure that it is much diffrent that the flash with put on nymph patterns and the shinny material I tie onto alot of other flies. I would also wonder if "purists" would not use "quick decent dubbing" because it is metal. Rick
