well stated!!! I agree with you 100%!!! I'm tired of listening to those "it's my right to kill limits of fish any place i want to", than they are the same ones who bellyache about how bad the fishing is. I wonder if any of them can put 2 and 2 together???? I know afew like that at the store & it always amazes me that they don't hear the train until it runs them over.... As I've said numerous times.."the days of taking your limit everytime your out fishing are dead,gone & a thing of the Past". I try to enlighten everyone as to how things really are in the 21st century....THINK, limit your kill, don't kill your limit. we all have this responsibility to the fisheries to try & teach others the simple & real facts of Catch & Release, and to be responsible for caring for the fisheries. Otherwise we will see it all become even more resricted...and no one but ourselves to blame... The BSA seems to be on that track with the Flyfishing Merit badge requiremnets & I give them "two thumbs Up" on their stance regarding this issue...

This is the biggest problem with the whole concept of catch and release! It's been my biggest bitch all along! There are certain waters where it's fine to "take a limit..." I enjoy fresh fish just as much as anybody, but the South Platte in the Cheesman canyon is not the place to get it, and that's just one example.
Those that have commented who are involved with teaching the Boy Scouts, certainly sound like thay have their priorities straight, and are doing a fine job! These young people need to be ta ght right, and it sounds like you're doing it! Thanks!
