As Tony says, it's already become a hopeless situation. With the
hundreds of thousands of patterns in existence, most folks don't even
realize they're simply repeating something that has been done before. I
believe I've only seen about a half-dozen new designs, not patterns, in
the past twenty years. Everything else is just a variation on a theme,
or as Tony wrote, simply uses new materials. Cheers,
