To me a nail knot is nothing but a whip finish. Been doing this for years, never had one slip. The nail is only wrapped to leave a space to feed the tag end of the leader through. To me, it is easier to have a loop to pull the leader back under the wraps. If I am wrong, so be it. Tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
