John, those records seem to be absent from the web, however, an
Australian guide that I have been in contact with cast with a
single-handed rod, 74.5 meters, or 83 yards. Getting damn close to that
U.S. football field (of course we make it harder in Canada, our fields
are 110 yards!). cheers,
