I just reread your post and saw you have a pontoon boat. I'm sure you could find someone to transport you from where you would leave your vehicle for pickup back to the put in point. Talk to the people at The Fly Shop. The lower Sac is really great and when I was there in September last year I had the River nearly to myself even on the weekend.
