Last year I did the same thing - fished on my own for a week.  I fished the
Madison in several places, the Gallatin, Big Hole and the rivers in
Yellowstone.  All were fine for a single fisherman.  I would add the
Missouri if I were doing it again.  There are some beautiful rivers in the
Bitterroot that I have targeted if I ever get back there.  I can tell you a
little about what I did on those if you decide to do that.  I am sure that
there are better minds on each but I did do well on most of them.
