Jim: Thanks for the tip. I'll consider some version of a brassie for the deer harvest part of the trip, but probably a little lighter in the 130-140 grain class from my somewhat louder "flyrod" with a scope. Not suprisingly, I've often wanted something similar for finicky trout that appeared to be feeding, just not on what I offered. It might make the release part of catch-and-release a little messy, though. Good luck on the hunt. Where are you going to be hunting and for what?
