Bill, I was at a friends house and noticed he had a shadow box with flies mounted in it. Really caught my I because he doesn't fly fish, but it was a very nice collection of traditional dry flies. I think that the flies were mounted on a piece of cloth wrapped around a piece of mat board. I will try to remember to take a closer look at it tomorrow when I'm over there and see if I can tell for sure, but I think this would be a good way to mount them and pretty easy too.
Hope this helps Jim Burbank ----- Original Message ----- From: Bill & Christina <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 9:14 PM Subject: [VFB] fly collecting question > I was going to mount some of the flies I've collected in swaps as well as > some fly's for gifts in a shadowbox.
