Bill,
  I was at a friends house and noticed he had a shadow box with flies
mounted in it. Really caught my I because he doesn't fly fish, but it was a
very nice collection of traditional dry flies. I think that the flies were
mounted on a piece of cloth wrapped around a piece of mat board. I will try
to remember to take a closer look at it tomorrow when I'm over there and see
if I can tell for sure, but I think this would be a good way to mount them
and pretty easy too.
