: Fished Lake Waco today, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., casting my 4 wt
: Thomas & Thomas from my bass boat. First time in quite a while, that
: the wind didn't blow ninety to nothing. With the warm weather we've had
: over the last week, the water temp was in the mid 60's and the
: largemouth bass were in the shallows. Caught 8, (1/2 lb - 2 lbs) all on
: Deerhair bugs fished in the rotting weeds, near the shoreline, Bugs
: were from Dan's Deerhair swap. Really fun outing. Gotta go to the
: ranch tomorrow and charge the battery on my tractor, air up the tires
: and do some blade-work on my roads. The rains we've had over the last
: three weeks have not been kind to them.
