No one in todays society need hunt or fish for food.
Wrong. Unemployment was not extended last I heard and there is a limit on welfare. But there are people who live in areas which get neither. Inuits to many rural groups in Africa, India, China rely on the land. How much dandelion, thistle root or other edible wild plants/critters are in your diet. I shake my head when I see folks putting down poison on their lawn. Did you know that 6 plantain (broadleaf) seeds will help keep the bugs off of you? Do you realize the Rosebud tribe is the poorest? Just because you don't see poverty, it is there and these folks have a right to hunt, fish and gather. You and I do it for fun but they do it to survive. Be well.
