I was fishing in a creek that runs through an industrial part. Thanks to some
persistant beavers, there's always a lot of water, and a terrific habitat for many
types and sizes of critters.

At lunch, some of the technicians and secretaries from an aerospace company came out
and watched me catching fish. One of the secretaries quickly ran inside, and brought
out some twine with about five paperclips hooked to the end, and a safety pin. She
whirled it around her head, and tossed into a pool about 6 feet out from shore, and
bam! caught a bass that ran over 15 inches.

Was she teasing me, or just trying it out? Whatever, it worked.
