Deb - only problem with those is that in order to make it large enough for your cast and float, it's no longer portable!

If you fish in sigle digit weather, how in the world do you keep your guides free of ice?

I take back all the thoughts I had about you folks north of the Mason-Dixon line who don't fish in sub-freezing weather.  You aren't weaker. . .just a whole lot smarter!
