I once caught a wind surfer the same way when fishing with bait

My line was out and the clever man tried to go between me and the hook as he
went out the line came around his leg

 And I hooked up!

25 metres of screaming drag later he fell off!

As I said to him - a little basic courtesy and good manners would have saved
him a nasty injury and a lot of indignity

Regards

Nick

Move in a little closer......double haul, and imagine their head as the
practice plate in the backyard. As the line wrap around their neck and
suddenly pulls them off it is fun. It feels like a good strike, but not
quite like a Texas Bass. The downside, it take a few minutes to get
untangled and you have to listen to a whining jet skier.

Mark:

That was not exactly what I had in mind.
Your suggestion is somewhat less violent then mine.
LOL

Now I am not suggesting that all us flyfisherman carry 9mm's,or become
violent, mind you.
But I sure wish I had something a little more "awakining" when a jet skiier
drove bnetween me and the shore line I was fishing.

FOR GOLFERS
It takes longer to learn good golf that it does brain surgery. On the other
hand, you seldom get to ride on a cart and eat hot dogs while performing
brain surgery.

: That would be an interesting experiment... Attach a 3/0 fly to the
leader,
: stick it through the rock throwers lip, and let 'em try to get away down
: through the riffles...
