You should see what I look like after the climb back up to the
car... The path to the parking area zig zags back and forth all the
way up the side of the "hill" There's like a 400'
elevation difference between the parking lot and the stream. Last
fall, I helped a guy pull a deer travois on wheels up the path. We
sure looked like a couple of old worn out idiots by the time we got up to
the top. I met him half way up, and he was already toast, and I had
neoprenes on. By the time we got to his pickup, we were both pretty
bedraggled... He did have the fortitude to offer me a cold one from
his cooler when we got to his truck, which just happened to be parked
next to my car.

Kinda tough to climb up a 30 degree incline through dense brush,
dressed in waders, fishing vest, and carrying a 7' bamboo
