The ones I use are closer to 3/8. I have tried the larger ones but I like the look of the smaller size better. I’ve also tried using glass beads behind the prop instead of brass beads…. The glass beads ended up being too squared off and obstructing the movement of the prop. I think I’m finally figuring out that every time I try to go cheap on something I end up regretting it. I have some that measure 3/8 of an inch and some 5/8 of an inch they are loose and I do not know the size. would they be close in size to what you use
