The ones I use are closer to 3/8. I have tried the larger

like the look of the smaller size better. I've also tried

beads behind the prop instead of brass beads.. The glass
beads ended up
being too squared off and obstructing the movement of the
prop. I think
I'm finally figuring out that every time I try to go cheap
on something
I end up regretting it. Oh well had to try it though :-)

The blade size that you use 0 or 00 , how big is the blade.
I have some
that measure 3/8 of an inch and some 5/8 of an inch they
are loose and I
do not know the size. would they be close in size to what
you use
