Hey Guys,
If you have ever seen any old collections of flies for the Eastern US or from old time
bass flyfishers, you will have seen spinners and props on flies
Props on flies are and are popular on trolling and some casting streamers. My
Granddad and Dad liked them for trolling (Rangeley style streamers with props).
AND remember the classic bass fishing spinner bait started life as a flyrod lure.
Does anyone have a Shannon spinner bait? I do.
Lastly check out Tom Nixon's book. His book is great.
Up here in Northern Alberta, I use flies with props. They work great in lakes.
Cheers,
Alberta Al
