I was interested in your relationships with Simms. My experience with them
was quite the opposite. I had tried to get a pair of guide waders that would
fit. Of course, I am outside the size in that I am short and stout. I first
tried what would appear to be the correct size according to their guide
lines and the feet were 6 inches too long though the rest of the wader was
fine. So, I called and talked with them and they sent me a pair that was
smaller..the feet were still way too big, the tops now no longer fit. The
lady I then called and talked to told me, rather snippily, that I'd have to
put up the money for a custom pair (which she really didn't recommend) or
find another company (which she stressed). I've had a pair of Orvis
breathables going on their fourth year with no problems, so I can't speak to
customer service on these. Isn't it interesting how different one's
experiences with a company can be. Perhaps I just got the same lady who
didn't like working each time..or she had a migraine. Joyce
