If you fly in to Fla and then go EAST to California, you are taking the long route. California is usually to the west of Florida! LOL
Also, believe me, Texas, around the gulf coast, including wherre I live in Orange, Houston, Galveston etc definately get hot anf humid. We usually have about 60 inches of rain here a year. Humidity of 90% with temps around 95* F are usual for the summer.
Hope to see you when you make your trip,

I have spoken to a fair few people and worked out various routes. My plan would be to fly in to Florida, travel East to California, go up one state, then travel back across the country to the East coast, head on right up to the North East tip of the US, then head across to the North West.
Many thanks to all

Chris, all 5 of those states Deb mentioned DO get HOT! But only one has any real humidity, Florida. Texas may have some down in the south........sorry Deb.
If at first you don't succeed, maybe you shouldn't try sky diving!
