I love Cocobola, but have not much contact with the others you mentioned.
I will go to my exotic wood distributor and look for them.

I just made a ring box for my wife for Christmas.
I used African Paduka. Used black velvet with a gold strand in it and lined the bottom with black felt.
I didn't use a finish but used stain controller to seal it.
Sure came out nice.
I even have an old Acme wood lathe that I got from my in laws when my father in law passed away.
