I was getting ready to go fishing after supper and laid my first fly rod on the couch.
One of my kids went in to watch TV, sat on it and broke the butt section. I heard
the crack from the kitchen. It had several longitudal splits. No warranty. I mixed
up some epoxy and smeared it along the splilts, covered it all with some of that
packing tape that has fiberglass in it. The next day I went flyfishing. I still have the
rod in the back of my van just in case I knucklhead my latest one. Just for the record.
It casts pretty good, considering I'm the caster.
