Byard and Deb...
I knew that too. It's even written on the back of it...

Quote:
"Some pelts that otherwise may have made Silver grade or higher are graded
Bronze because of some apparent but minimal cosmetic deficiences."

But I can't complain, myself. It looks very cute to me!

As I understand it .... and I'm sure Don O will add to this....
There will be no difference in the quality of the Whiting feathers
from your Bronze pelt to a Gold pelt. The difference is in the
quantity of the feathers on the pelt. You can tie more flies with a
Gold grade pelt because the feather count is higher. The feather
quality will always be of the highest standards from a Whiting pelt.
So if you want a variety of colors and are on a limited budget dig
through the bronze grades and you will get some great buys and the
same quality!!!

A Whiting pelt...and this time I can look at it in 3-D. Of course I
had to make some priorities this time too, so I didn't stretch
further than bronze...but it sure looked good enough to me.

Deb...

While your analysis is correct in regards to Whiting Rooster Saddles,
it isn't quite true of their Rooster Capes. While all grades of
Whiting Capes will exceed the quality of most other brands on the
market, feather quality will definitely increase as the grade goes up.
