Del, Don't believe a word Jimmy's telling you.   He ties a chunk of leader to a tree limb and the other end to a fly hanging in the water, to come back later after a few beers to check his catch.  His other favorites are nymphs below a floating milk-jug, or sleeping it off on the bank with his line tied around his big toe, waiting for a tug.  Only guy I know that fly-fishes with a trot-line.   I been trying to get him to upgrade to a cane-pole, but that's just too sophisticated for him to grasp mentally.   Cheers, DonO ----- Original Message ----- From: Jimmy D. Del, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  Just take the rod you like best!  I fish drys and wets/nymphs from my little 4 weight and never worry about the stiffness.  The little Pfluger that I gave you last year will work nicely on either type of fishing.
