Deb, boy can i relate. Last year i got screwed because i wasn't at a meeting in June (2003) where it was decided to change the date of our (the CFTG) annual CFTG Rondezvous to the third Sat. in April instead of the second Sat. in April. So, i ended up having to choose either to stay in town and tye at the Rondezvous or be in Idaho tying at the E.I.F.T./F.F. EXPO......i choose Idaho. The first two Rondezvous were really fun for me, and i hated not being there, but........"choices." Don't know what's gonna happen this year. I'm trying to get it put back to the second Sat. They originally changed it because they didn't want it to conflict with opening day of trout season in Penn. (PA.), but then PA. changed their opening day to the third Sat. and they accomplished nothing. LMAO. Go figure. mark.........

I've found that it is impossible to find the "right" date for everyone when trying to schedule
our tying Symposium. They all have their own ideas about when you should have it and
it's always too close to one event or another. We finally just set a date and went with it.
Unfortunately we found out too late we clashed with Chucks end of the season thankyou
get together with the tiers. Hopefully this year we got it right. :)
We have so many talented tyers in our club we stopped paying for presenters.
They recently gave me a copy of the bylaws of UFT to look at and suggest any changes.
I fell asleep on the first page. I better get to reading. I think I have thirteen more pages to go.
Didn't anyone tell them I like to tie flies?
Deb
