Hi Steve, just buy the tool. I LOVE Frog Hair....Great stuff. I also try my 
very best to NEVER leave ANY tippet material, let along a leader, EVER 
anywhere but in some pocket of my vest while fishing. That iis,......the 
waste material after snipping tag ends when tying on new flies, etc., etc. I 
catch each and every piece i snip and put it in my vest pocket until i can 
dispose of it. It's the least you can do. mark

I use a surgeons know in the field and don't use
flourocarbon due to cost and the fact that it just
doesn't ever decay in the environment. Don't let that
info get around though or it will get banned in
California. :)
