I doubt that Byard sells them (if he does, go to Line's End, but I
don't recall anything like that), so I'll suggest eBay... that's where
I got mine. It doesn't have to be a VERY expensive one (though they
are nice...) and it works great for bulk tying materials, too! A
large chunk-o-elk-hide isn't practical lying on the tying desk, but if
I cut it into 3"x3" squares and vacuum seal them, it's great -- pick
out a piece every so often, then re-seal the rest back up. I use a
single cedar ball in each vac-u-pack, and haven't had problems since
going this route.
