[VFB] Furled Leaders

I saw Rick mention furled leaders at the Sow Bug.. Are they worth the extra money??? I think we may have discussed this a few months ago, but my memory ain't what it used to Be. I think it was Del who was telling Me he tied his own, and I may only have to buy one or two per season, instead of a bunch of them. is this true??? And do you still use a tippet with a furled leader???Thanks in advance, Chuck
