Sounds like that southern boy pulled pork to me. Although that's good, I'm sure it's no match for the brisket and ribs of Jimmy D. and Jayhawk Jeff's TexiKan BBQ:) Haven't had a good BBQ smackdown in here for a while. Seriously, I've been known to pull a shift on a smoker. My buddies and I compete few times a year in area events and am always in the mood to learn a few things.

Need a source of good meat, thermometer, real charcoal, pre-soaked wood chunks, the basics. I'll bring the rub, marinate and show you boys where my Momma is from (Georgia). Will need tag team partners to monitor temperature, baste, turn, etc. My recipe is perfect so don't even THINK of adding or changing anything. Volunteers to assist? None of that Jersey BBQ (anything that is cooked on a grill is BBQ in Jersey). We can't have him going back to Sweden thinking that a charred Ball Park Frank is BBQ. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Nick, > Still haven't heard from you on when you'll be at > the Sowbug...
