Ah, the dreaded "C" shape.  I can still see my wall hanger walleye fading into the depths with the end of my line in a "C" shape.  Buck, I don't know how old you are, but it could be the eye sight is fading.  When it happens to me I figure I only ran the tag end through the loop once instead of twice even though I'd swear on a stack of bibles I tied it correctly.  Sometimes I luck out and it comes untied when I'm tightening it and I realize I missed a step.

I need help from the list........Lost four bass tonight because the improved cinch knot broke or came untied.  The end of the line was a "C" shaped so maybe all you guys can tell by that just what did happen.

Info: Using Trilene 8# Sensation line. Been using the improved cinch knot since day one and never had any trouble until now.  Do you suppoose it is the Trilene??

Thanks for all your help.
