Buck.. these new leaders are sometimes very hard and slippery. Look in Google and check on using a Duncan Loop. It looks much when finish like a Chinch Knot.. The Duncan Knot or Loop is at lease 20% stronger. This knot you need to use five turns. I wrap the leader around my four fingers then run the five turns in the open loop, I'm not good on instructions here but as all knots I had to learn to tie them in the dark. Glenn Overton

I need help from the list........Lost four bass tonight because the improved cinch knot broke or came untied. The end of the line was a "C" shaped so maybe all you guys can tell by that just what did happen.

Info: Using Trilene 8# Sensation line. Been using the improved cinch knot since day one and never had any trouble until now. Do you suppoose it is the Trilene??
