I'll back Jeff on this one other then the kid was 13 at the time if I
remember correctly. The self proclaimed pro tier and fly shop owner was a
fraud and those with any knowledge of the kid knew it. He would come in the
chat room and let loose his lines of bull. Another well used flyfishing site
had banned him from the chat rooms all together, I was even there to witness
him coming in under an alias and when the chat room host called him out he
admitted it was him and was promptly booted from the room. Murf knew all
this as well as did many others.

I'll stick with VFB due to the friends I've met. I'm not near as active as I
was a few years back but I do love this group. This group helped me get
through some really tough times. When I was out of work there was always
words of encouragement from my fellow VFBers. When money was tight Byard
held a special winger cape for me till I had the money for the purchase.
This is a great List and it goes through it's phases as do we all on our
journeys through life. I hope to become more active in the coming months and
with the starting of our tying group at Church I hope to get back into some
swaps again as this will give me some much needed forced tying time.

Just sounding off my 2 cents

Jim Burbank aka Troutman
now enough of this Make sure to read Chucks fishing report!! Great stuff.
