Tony: This is very disappointing news indeed! I have used Gudebrod rod building threads for many years but their fly tying threads never caught on in my part of Canada. Here, Danville was the most common fly tying thread, then along came Uni-Thread, Wapsi Ultra thread and various others. Some months ago, there was a huge quantity of the Gudebrod fly tying threads available on eBay. These were on the old "Gutterman" style spool and obviously old stock. I obtained a good supply but in limited colours in sizes ranging from G to 10/0
