Hi, Reuven-
Do you have a link or picture of the Spiderweb paper you mentioned? I'm
curious if it is like the "WebWing" or "NoFray" stuff I've heard of. Does
it get water-logged or "pulpy" like printer paper would, or is it a fabric
based item? I'm intrigued and can't seem to find a source for it... I
haven't heard of "Oz" aside from the movie with Dorothy and Toto...
As for the "mayfly material" foam, it's great stuff! I'd imagine you
could steam it off the inside of an international- air- mailing envelope, or
ask at the local electronics store if any products were wrapped in it, but
frankly, it's a whole lot easier - and better quality - to go through
Jerry. I've used it (with his permission) at a show or two and the response
was surprising. I've only had it twist a leader once, and that was a big
ol' dragonfly (I think I tied it for a swap in here at some point --
"porcupine dragon", porcupine quill body and such) that I tied up more as a
novelty. Not getting a kickback or affiliated, just my admittedly somewhat
bias opinion...
Thanks for the info about the Spiderweb paper, and tight lines,
Pete
