  I have a couple of those arms lying around.  I just removed the  jaws from 
the arm.  Removed the arm from the base, and put the jaws where  the arm was.

There is still another way that it can be changed  by
turning the part (Z) that holds the jaws upside down.
It will not  work as a true rotary but it is usable as
a rotary. If I get a chance this  week I will get mine
out and take some photos of what I mean. The part I  am
talking about is not shown on your vise. You have the
straight jaws  in the photos. I also have a pair of
those.
