Addresses of the type http://ia200100.eu.archive.org/whatever are not
permalinks to your media.
Addresses of the type http://www.archive.org/ are the permalinks.
If you dont use the permalinks, its not permanent.
Another important issue is that archive.org could also be unhappy at
people using the urls. This is because any of your media might
actually be hosted on multiple servers, and it redirects people to the
server nearest to them, or with the least traffic at that moment,
stuff like that. It allows archive.org to balance their performance.
By linking to a file on one specific server, this balance is upset and
so could be harming user experience and archive.org.
Or I could be talking poopsicles.
