It should not be the sole medium for transmitting content though.... especially if you are a blogger.
Need to have logical balance and understand who your target audience is.
Obviously, PDFs targeted to this community is not proper if its the main format unless its purpose is to allow printing for whatever reasons.
Btw, way back, i was looking into how to add multimedia into PDFs.... is that still a mystery these days? I used to do a lot of research into multimedia eBooks etc..
