Andrew, I am not legal, but in this case please keep in mind all we have are the rights to distribute and edit that content. We don't own the content itself.
Under our agreement he still would have been able to sell it to the beer company. Basically he sold the rights to the Beer company to distribute that video. Logically, the beer company would go to the creator because in most cases they will get it cheaper. Than through a broker. When you upload your video to YouAreTV you give us rights to distribute that content, and use it in promotional activities for the site. We can't pay every content creator for that content so for now You have to give it for free. Once we figure out a model that works, we will change our terms that reflect our partnership with that content creator. Unfortunately we have to be in business, and have to protect ourselves as you the content creator have to protect your content. We respect that right and if you don't want YouAreTV to get your video out there, then don't smear our name... just upload. We are just a few guys trying to build a good site seeing where micro/individually created content goes. We are not out to get our content creators... New terms to come though... --- In [email protected], "Andrew Baron" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Perhaps I have misunderstood though it seems you have avoided my question: > > 1.
