I'm not sure about that. MySpace has reacted in a big way to all the media hysteria about sexual predators. This is a chance for them to be seen as helping young people rather than providing an arena for them to get hurt.
Zadi, it wouldn't surprise me if the press picks up on this, and if they don't real soon, put heads together with danah and make them - she already gets plenty of press attention. Then you've got a chance to get MySpace to listen to your idea, which is a very good one.
