Like Nick, I use viking for OSM: I check my logs, clean them, and send
them to OSM. I also plan to add a method to directly upload a POI.

There is minimal support for this in viking. If you can find and post
the template of the command to invoke, I can try to add this in
viking.

I have an experimental stuff allowing to configure map sources and
external tools via configuration file. I plan to publish this stuff
just after 0.9.9.
