Hello everyone, I used to be able to plan routes (running, cycling) using google maps, then adding &output=kml to the link, and then receiving the KML file. Then I would usually do fine edits in Viking (OSMs have better biking path info), export as a gpx track, save to my unit, and go.
Since a little while this has stopped working andwill likely not come back, see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11680872/google-maps-output-kml-broken and in particular https://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=4321 Would it be possible in any way to integrate JSON based functionality into Viking, i.e. to paste the google link and then retrieve the path directly into Viking or something similar? There are some code fragments in the two posts and in the links from the posts.
