Does this solve the problem? In which category would a tip for C/C++ be?
Cfamily? C? C++? all three?

I am ok with having one category for each language. If a tip fits into
multiple languages, put it in multiple cats. (A pro of these "tag-like"
categories is that they don't have to be disjoint ...)

If someone browses through a category she will find all relevant tips.
It's easy :-)

You are right that the reader then has to trust the categories. But we
will have to find another way to make her trust us.

Sebastian.
