I would doubt it. ;-) ZZ is mentioned on the same line of the Quitting
recipe (http://vim.runpaint.org/basics/quitting-vim/) as :x. In
addition to what others have said, Command-Line mode commands to save
and quit are also useful when you're already working in that mode.
